About the Program
Specialized Reading Instruction
A+ Reading Tutoring offers individualized, specialized instruction using the Barton Reading & Spelling System, provided during the school day at Grace Learning Center for students who enroll in the program.
The Barton System is a structured, multisensory program based on Orton-Gillingham principles and aligned with the Science of Reading. It is designed especially for students with dyslexia but is also highly effective for learners who need additional support in reading, spelling, and writing.
Instruction Tailored to Each Student
With 14 years of tutoring experience, instruction is provided using a diagnostic-prescriptive approach. Each lesson is adjusted to meet the student’s specific needs.
Hands-on letter tiles and systematic instruction help students strengthen foundational reading skills through visual, auditory, and tactile learning.
Program Details
Recommended Schedule: Two sessions per week
Fee: $40 per session
